Nurse Sarah qualified in 1998 from Thames Valley University in London. She worked extensively in Coronary Care and Cardiac Rehabilitation in Hillingdon Hospital, London for ten years.

She moved back to West Cork in 2007 to commence work as a Practice Nurse. She has completed further training in Diabetes Management, Cardiovascular Care, Cervical Smear taking, Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis management, Childhood Immunisations, Smoking cessation and Weight management . She has a Certifcate in Family Planning from the Irish Family Planning Association. She is an active member of the Irish Practice Nurse Association , and has organised several Practice Nurse meetings in West Cork over the last number of years
