Dr. Michael graduated from UCC in 1997. He completed the Cork GP training programme in 2001. He has worked as a GP in Farranfore, Co Kerry and Skibbereen Medical Centre prior to commencing practice in Bantry in 2003.

He is involved in the training of future GP’s and is a Trainer in the South West GP training programme. He is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners, and is the local representative for the SouthDoc out of hour’s service.

He has completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine in UCC.

He has a special interest in Child Health, Medicine for the Elderly, Well Man clinics, Sports Medicine, Travel Medicine and Health promotion. He provides Occupation Health Medicine services for a number of local companies including pre-employment medicals.
